School

I like the play ground when no one else is here.
It's so quiet you could hear a snowflake falling,
Or a feather drifting down.
I can chat to mum.
We plan what to do after school.
‘I'm going to Joseph Kahn's house.'
The other children go round the edge,
Curve round corners,
Zigzag across the middle.
Anthony, Lewis, Aaron and Jack hide in the castle
Silently
Looking out for Thomas.
Will he find them?
DING DING
Everyone rushes back to their mum,
Except me!
A teacher shows the cards.
The children head for the door.
They cram and squash through,
Like a river rushing down.
Katie falls, but she's not hurt!
Everyone settles down.
I'm happy to see my friends,
Excited to play maths games on the computer!
Swirling my brush in art making spirals!
