HEY FATTY

I hate being overweight.
People call me names like Fatty boom-boom
But I’ve always been big built, like my mum,
And I’ve always felt left out.

I hate being overweight.
When I go shopping with my mates
To get new clothes, they are excited
But I dread it. I hate the changing rooms
With all those mirrors and girls posing
in low waisted trousers, big belts slung around slinky hips
tight crop tops and skinny-legged jeans.
They’d look terrible on me
(if I could actually get into them!)
Top Shop doesn’t stock my size.
I go to Peacocks, where my Mum gets her clothes.

It’s a good job I’ve got a sense of humour
Or I’d get really depressed.
I want to be thin but
I love food!
