Helen Mort was born in Sheffield in 1985 and grew up in the Peak District. Winner of the Foyle Young Poets award five times, she won a Gregory Award in 2007 and the Manchester Young Writer Prize in 2008. In 2010/11 she was poet in residence at The Wordsworth Trust. She has published three pamphlets including a pint for the ghost (2010) which was a Poetry Book Society Choice and Lie of the Land (2011). Her first collection will be published in 2013. more…
